Roses and Thorns – draw popsicle sticks with student’s names on them and ask them to tell me one ‘rose’ (something good) and one ‘thorn’ (something not so good/bad) that happened during the day.
Choice silent reading between reading a book off of Epic!, a book off of Ms. Hoque’s book shelf, or their own book from home. After students finish a book, they fill out a “book review” for it to turn in.
Independent Learning: Students work to complete at least four iReady lessons within their Individual Leaning Path .
